Born in the Motor City and made in the Glass City, Knightheart has spent the past 7 years honing in on his sound and what he wants his image to be. As a youth battling chronic homelessness and physical health issues, Knightheart found solace in music, discovering it through deep exploration of self during difficult times. Music provided the power during a period of time where he felt powerless. This power shows itself in his latest full-length project “Catch 22.” Knightheart has been building his career by traveling the Midwest and touring with national artists. This being his second album, the Toledo-based artist has been focusing on shifting the status quo and culture.
“Catch 22” is an alternative rock project with a splash of Trap described as a “coming of age” experience. With key tracks like “Wannabe,” “They Always Say,” and “Fight or Flight,” there is something special for anyone who listens.
Knightheart explains the intentions of this album as him wanting to create a body of work that was more transparent and rawer than his previous projects. “I explored different frequencies of sounds so that I could approach my songwriting and vocal delivery in ways that enabled growth.”
With the goal of combining all that he has learned throughout his journey and magnifying it, Knightheart manifested “Catch 22” and developed it as a window to his soul. The artist delivers on his objective of providing a deep esoteric feeling for people through his art.
The album itself wasn’t meant to exist initially. Knightheart shared “I feel like it was an apple that dropped on my head or something. It was a gift to me, so I want to use it to continue giving.”
Knightheart felt inspired to follow a different sound creatively, not realizing that it would become a full project. After recording 40+ songs that fit the style he was going for, Knightheart eventually trimmed it all down to the final track list. The care he took into selecting the appropriate songs came from the desire to properly and respectfully offer this album to the community and culture. In regards to community, Knightheart recently hosted a Catch 22 Album Release Show in Toledo. The show itself served to not only promote the album, but to also support the Beach House Family Shelter charity with proceeds being donated to said charity.
It seems that all is going well with Knightheart’s path to stardom as his goals are righteous ones. With not only his music, but the MVNIFVST brand to guide, Knightheart is ready to share his message with the world.

Smooth melodies and deep lyrics blend to form a song created with hope and passion. Tavia Ellis has
teamed up with Caroline to release “Passion Flower,” a track that embodies true love and desire.
Hailing from Toldeo, Ohio, Tavia Ellis has been recording music since 2018, working with other local artists to
truly discover her sound.
This path of discovery has led us to a single in which poetic hymns ride
alongside a soft and soulful beat. When asked for the inspiration behind the track, Tavia Ellis said “Love,
of course.
True love. As Caroline and I sat with each other listening to beats, this one really spoke to our hearts.” The process of spewing out words to what felt like a connecting beat soon bled into old poetry that coincidentally fit with the overall vibe of the project. The desire for love and preparation for a future of happiness are prevalent in the powerful vocals, leaving the listener with a message that resonates with the masses.
“The space between/You and me/It’s magnetic, kinetic/I’m having fantasies.” The creativity and imagination in this track would excite any new listeners, and wo
rd on the block is that Tavia Ellis is currently writing her first album. With the support she has received since her first single “Infatuation” until now, Tavia seems to be ready to take the next step in her music career. In preparation for this upcoming album, feel free to play “Passion Flower” while you serenade that special
someone.

If RnB is your thing, you found your next new discovery. Wooch is a wizard at composing, producing, writing, recording, mixing, and mastering music. Wooch is mainly an RnB singer with a fantasy-esque energy. Yet his cadence is classic enough to make you feel remnants of your favorite early 2000s RnB classics. I am here to tell you his story through my eyes!
My name is Abby Sarabia, and I had the pleasure of co-creating many works of art with Wooch. This article is written from my perspective. Let's dive into it!
Wooch was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He reached 6’5 at 16 and was naturally encouraged to play sports. But his love of music kept him inspired off the court. Wooch has been a music enthusiast and multi-instrumentalist since his teens. His sound was initially shaped by the classic trailblazers of slow jams; Usher, Chris, All 90s RnB, you get it.
In his early 20s, Wooch found his way to Las Vegas, Nevada, and called it home for a few years. He sought creative expansion and change of scene. The impact the move had on his sound was so evident. I love his release, Ruin Your Mind, featuring Vegas artist Diamond B. I think it is evidence of how much his craft was evolving.
When Wooch came home, it was immediately purposeful. Within a month of being in Toledo, he met his true love and now the mother of his child at a mutual friend's party. The song below, Right On Time, is the story of their instantaneous connection, energetic ties, and uncanny timing. According to them, they were manifesting each other, and the universe answered.
From the years of 2018 - 2020, Wooch released independent masterpieces. I believe in this time in his life, he was fueled by true love, vacations in the desert, and creative freedom. He composed, wrote, produced, recorded, mixed, mastered, and distributed genius singles like desert eyes, lava, spider hands, and more.
In March of 2021, he and I met for a session just to shoot shit. I think at this time, we both had creative seeds we needed to water. In that two-hour session, we made three beautiful songs. Immediately we knew it was bigger than a session. The second time we met, it was different in a good way. He was a dad now, and I knew something amazing would happen in this session. It just so happened that Petie Rodriguez, his partner's cousin and phenomenal guitarist, was hanging around.
Wooch: "Petie, will you lay something down over this?"
Petie: "Yup."
Wooch *pulls up a five-minute skeleton of a beat* - "See what you can do on this."
Abby: "Just press record and let this man play."
Petie: "Shreds oh so gracefully perfect for 5 minutes straight."
This interaction gave life to Dream Filter, a place we had conceptualized around these explosive sessions. Throughout this album, you can hear how effortless it was for us to get lost in this new world we had created. Inspired by our reality, family, and love, we released our co-op project in January of 2022, Dream Filter.
I cannot speak for Wooch, but if I know one thing about him, he is never finished. His music is his documentation of life through his eyes, and I must say it's beautifully written. If you enjoyed this story, give him a follow, and a listen. Being the true RnB wizard, he does not disappoint.
